The object of our project is child itself, its needs and the state’s attitude to it. Our aim is to give an objective view of the position of children in the international community and briefly investigate current situation . The importance of protection of children’s rights is all about the fact that children are our future generation of law abiding citizens. The problem of this theme is in insufficient compliance of present legal provisions, lack of legal regulation. Child abuse is recognized as one of global problems in field of protection of children rights. Under cruel treatment we understand all forms of physical or mental violence, drubbing, systematic abjection, careless treatment and sexual encroachment. This phenomenon is characteristic not only for developing countries but for advanced. Not to mention obvious problems children have in developing countries such as starving, wars, lack of dwelling, health service – all that can cause threat to life or health of the child


The right to life means that each child must be able to live his or her own life. Children have the right not to be killed. They have the right to survive and to grow up in proper conditions.

The right to education allows each child to receive instruction, to enjoy a social life, and to build his or her own future. This right is essential for economic, social and cultural development.

The right to food is the right of each child to eat. It is the right to not die of hunger and to not suffer from malnutrition. Every five seconds, a child dies of hunger somewhere in the world.
